The Way To Secure Your Wordpress Blog

It was Monday morning and I was on a call with a dozen others who are my peers. Each of us helps the small business owner with their businesses in one way or the other. It was at the end of the call and we were each sharing our websites and going over how to make little improvements here and there. Time was running out and there was just enough time for one more website review, I volunteered. As my site was coming up for all to see suddenly the screen turned a maroon red with an outline of a security officer with his hand stretched out and the words of"do not precede malware threat." I was too horrified to recall exactly what it said although there was more. I was concerned on being destroyed plus humiliated that the people on the call had seen me vulnerable, that I had spent hours.

I back my blogs using a free plugin WP DB Backup up. I can always restore my website if anything happens. I use my blog to be scanned by WP Security Scan plugin that is free and asks to be blocked by WordPress Firewall to fix hacked wordpress database.

Basically, it all will start with the basics. Attempt to use passwords. Use numbers, letters, special characters, and spaces and combine them to Our site create a password that is special. You can use.

While it's an odd term, it represents a task that is essential : making a WordPress copy of your website to work on offline, or in case something should go amiss. We are not only being obsessive-compulsive here: servers go down every day, despite their promises of 99.9% uptime, and if you've had this happen to you, you understand the panic is it can cause.

Make a note of your password to the next time you sign in! I recommend the version of the secure software *Roboform* to remember your passwords.

Oh . And incidentally, I was talking about plugins. Make sure it's a secure one, when you get a new plugin. Do not install any plugin just because the owner is saying on his site that plugin will allow you to do that or this. Maybe use maybe, or a test site to look at the plugin get a software engineer to analyze it. This way you'll know it isn't a threat for your business or you.
